Today, we were supposed to have freezing rain, so we planned a fun day at home. We painted, made pancakes for uncle Bailey and his friends and cuddled and watched movies. After he fell asleep, I took this picture because he looks just perfect. <3

I love being a stay-at-home mom. I'm am continuously in awe of how much Maverick is learning, growing and changing by the day. This is my commitment to documenting that! 

I take hundreds of photos of Maverick. So many that often I'm overwhelmed and so they just sit on my computer. 

So, I'm going to make Monday our special day to go do our big fun thing for the week- and then blog about it so I don't forget all the wonderful little details. :) 

Today is the first Monday following his third birthday. He had to go to our local school for a hearing and vision screening to get the ball rolling for speech therapy through the school district. We had to be there at 8:30- which to most people is a reasonable time but we were both dragging as if it was the middle of the night. 

So after, we went to Mcdonalds and ate breakfast and he had the play place all to himself! He's just so cute, waving at me from the tubes. 

I hope he always stops playing to find me and wave <3
